By accessing or using the website alamedafenceanddeck.com (the "Site") or by engaging Master Alameda Fence & Deck ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Master Alameda Fence & Deck provides residential deck construction, fence installation, pergola building, and related outdoor structure services in Alameda, CA and surrounding communities. All work is subject to a separate written project agreement between the Company and the homeowner.
The Site is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of service availability, pricing, or timeline.
Estimates provided through the Site, by phone, or in person are not binding until confirmed in a written project agreement signed by both parties. Prices quoted are based on information available at the time of the estimate and may change if site conditions, material costs, or project scope differ from what was originally described.
Any change to the scope of work after a project agreement is signed must be documented in a written change order. Work outside the original agreed scope will be billed separately at prevailing rates.
Project start dates are estimates and may shift based on permit approval timelines, material availability, weather, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate schedule changes as promptly as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposit forfeiture, will be stated in your project agreement.
We reserve the right to pause or reschedule work due to unsafe conditions, including extreme weather, site hazards, or conditions that cannot be resolved during the project.
Payment schedules will be outlined in your project agreement. Typical projects require a deposit before work begins, a progress payment at a specified milestone, and a final payment upon completion. Final payment is due upon project completion and before final documents, including permit records, are released.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your project agreement. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in the project agreement.
We reserve the right to stop work on any project where payment obligations are not met according to the agreed schedule.
Where required, we obtain building permits on your behalf as part of the project scope. Permit fees are typically passed through to the homeowner as outlined in the project agreement. The homeowner is responsible for disclosing any known conditions that may affect permit approval, including HOA restrictions, easements, or prior unpermitted work.
If unpermitted work by others is discovered during the project, we will notify you and may need to pause work while the issue is resolved. This may affect the project timeline and cost.
Any workmanship warranty provided by Master Alameda Fence & Deck will be stated in the project agreement. Warranties apply to defects in our work and do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, acts of nature, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Material warranties, where applicable, are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will assist in facilitating manufacturer warranty claims where possible but are not responsible for the outcome of those claims.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Master Alameda Fence & Deck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
All content on the Site, including text, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to Master Alameda Fence & Deck. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate courts of California.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
